Specsavers’ free standard sight test checks your general vision and includes prescription for glasses and eye pressure measurement. We also offer a comprehensive sight test for 29€, and in addition to the same examinations that are part of the standard sight test, the comprehensive sight test includes an eye health check. At Specsavers Redi we also offer OCT scanning. If needed, our optician will refer you to an ophthalmologist for further examinations.

Have you already noticed that it’s only a 15-minute walk from Kalasatama metro station to Korkeasaari?

Come and discover the route on Helsinki Day! First, follow the animal tracks from the metro station through Redi to Englantilaisaukio. There you will meet the Redi guides, who will lead you on a walk from Redi across the Isoisänsilta bridge to the Korkeasaari gate. At the Korkeasaari gate, the first 2,000 people guided by the Redi guides will receive a Korkeasaari entrance ticket from the Redi guide, with which they can continue their journey to spend the day on the animal island.

Departures every 15 minutes from Englantilaisaukio from 12-19 pm, or as long as tickets are available. Children under 4 years old do not need tickets.

If, on the other hand, you come directly to the Redi in your own car, you can get a discount ticket from Redi’s info point, which will get you 24 hours parking in Redi for just €5!

Fööni in REDI is the first place in the world where you can experience the sensation of a freefall in the middle of the city! As part of the international community of wind tunnel flying, we want to establish the sport as part of Finnish sports, leisure and urban cultures.

The Alko shop in REDI is a shop for specialities and new products, offering limited small batch and unusual products for enthusiasts. The range consists of around 1,500 products, with around one thousand varieties of wines, 200 varieties of brewery products, and 300 varieties of spirits. In our selection of wines, we particularly emphasise the increasing popularity of sparkling wines. In the other product groups there is a strong focus on whiskies and speciality beers. Every year, our specialist shop adds around 300 small batch products to the selection.

We want to improve the range in our shop in REDI according to the wishes of our customers, so our staff would welcome feedback about our products. We want our selection to be as comprehensive and interesting as possible in every product group. The entire selection in our online shop – some 8,000 products – can also be ordered to our shop. The atmosphere and look of the shop will reflect the seasons, while our theme-based presentation will give suggestions on the current trends and latest products.
